Child Aid projects Farmers’ Clubs, and Tree planting
“Quality human capital is crucial to optimizing productivity and associated socioeconomic benefits to citizens. Government alone cannot grow the economy, eradicate poverty and inequality and enhance the quality of life” Fifth National Development Plan of Namibia (NDP5).
Our mission is to supplement government’s efforts in achieving development goals as formulated in the National Development Plan through working hand-in-hand with the least fortunate people to create better livelihoods.
This is accomplished through extensive community outreach such as the 10 lines of Child Aid that include information and lessons on; nutrition, hygiene and sanitation, Orphans and Vulnerable Children programs, environmental awareness, firewood saving stoves and formation of grassroots developmental institutions.
Other outreach activities are facilitated through projects such as the Farmers’ Clubs, and Tree planting contributing towards climate change actions. We continue to build capacity through continuous updating of knowledge and skills by organize communities to work together to identify solutions to issues that hinder their development.
