LEGAL STATUS:
DAPP Namibia has been registered as an Incorporated Association Not for Gain (21/90/045) since 1990 and as a Welfare Organisation (W085 since) 1992.
VISION:
To be a high-quality community service delivery provider of highly effective and efficient community development programming within Namibia in support of national development goals by engaging individuals and communities.
MISSION:
To carry out welfare and development work of any nature and assist the people of Namibia in order to improve the quality of life in the country.
MEMBERSHIP:
DAPP Namibia is a member of the Federation for Associations connected to the International Humana People to People Movement. The Federation comprises of 29 independent national member associations. Our common agenda is:
“We protect the planet, build communities and support people by connecting them with others in transformative programmes, unleashing their potential for positive change and action”.


DAPP Namibia, with over three decades of experience, collaborates with the Ministry of Health and Social Services to implement public health projects emphasizing community ownership. Funded by various partners, DAPP Namibia’s programs focus on HIV, TB, Malaria prevention, health education, bringing health services closer to communities, and linking people to additional care at health facilities to promote well-being.
We offer preschool learning through play, primary & secondary as well as vocational skills training.
We organize families & communities to work together, learn more and do more to improve their livelihoods.
Farmers’ Clubs and Producer Organizations focus on farmers and their families, providing a space to meet, learn, and support each other to improve their resilience to climate change.
