DAPP Namibia’s Nutrition and Backyard Gardening Project worked with local leaders to make sure no one is left behind. In 2025, the project expanded from Anamulenge and Ogongo into the Outapi Constituency. Because local support is key, an in-person meeting was held to plan this move. Development committee members Aipinge Timoteus and Tt Shinyata Johannes supported starting in Omakuku A, Omakuku B, and Okahwa Kangamba. By working with leaders and youth, DAPP Namibia, the World Food Programme, and the Capricorn Foundation ensured the gardens belong to the community.
