On March 18, 2025, Think Namibia and Hanns Seidel Foundation handed over an aquaponics system to DAPP Vocational Training School in Omusati Region. Supported by the Embassy of Finland and Namibia Breweries, the system introduced sustainable farming practices to students and community members. Aquaponics combines fish farming with vegetable production, offering a modern way to grow food. By integrating water conservation and food production, the system serves as a practical training tool, giving students hands-on experience and strengthening skills in sustainable agriculture and community resilience.
